Teppan Edo is the best restaurant in all of EPCOT. That’s Dad’s story and he’s sticking too it.
This restaurant serves food Teppan style. Teppan style is like where chefs put on a show as they cook your food on a griddle that you sit around. Dinners feature meats and vegetables (vegetable only options are available, but why would anyone do that?) and are served with rice and udon noodles.

Teppan Edo
History of Edo
The Edo period of Japanese history lasted from 1603 to 1868 (over 250 years). It was a very quiet and stable time for Japan. The word Edo means bay entrance and refers to the city of Edo which was later renamed Tokyo.

Hours
The restaurant is open from noon till nine pm. (There’s probably a country song in there somewhere). It can be real interesting to get a very late dinner time and then walk through EPCOT after the park is closed and everyone else leaves.
Prices
Prices range from $17.00 for the Vegetable only meal to $29.95 for the Filet Mignon. The sushi costs $7.50 except for the sampler which is $9.50.

Dad’s Bottom Line
This is the second restaurant we make a reservation at. (The first is ‘Ohana.) We really enjoy it. The inclusion of Udon Noodles rather than the traditional bamboo shoots is a great topper to a great meal.
It’s just good.
