If you’re craving something tasty after a ride on Avatar Flight of Passage or want to try the “local” cuisine of Pandora, we’ve got the perfect answer: Satu’li Canteen.

This quick-service restaurant is a favorite within Disney’s Animal Kingdom, with a menu that doesn’t feature your standard theme park fare. Set inside a Quonset hut-esque structure, you’ll feel like you’re dining right in the middle of a former RDA mess hall from the James Cameron film series.

Satu’li Canteen Location

Satu’li Canteen is located in Pandora – The World of Avatar. Inside this land, the restaurant sits right near Pongu Pongu.

Satu’li Canteen Menu

Although Satu’li Canteen might look like a mess hall decorated with Na’vi items, its fare is far better than anything you’d dine on at a true mess hall. The food here is meant to be inspired by the grains, vegetables, and proteins you’d find throughout Pandora.

Satu’li Canteen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When it comes to delicious flavors, adults and kids alike will enjoy pretty much anything on the menu. Plus, if you’re looking for vegetarian or plant-based options, Satu’li Canteen is a great pick for the family.

Disney Dining Plan

Satu’li Canteen does accept the Disney Dining Plan and, since it’s a quick-service spot, the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan.

It’ll cost you one quick-service meal credit per person to dine here.

Advance Dining Reservations

Since Satu’li Canteen is a quick-service restaurant, you don’t have to worry about making an advance dining reservation (ADR) ahead of your visit. Reservations aren’t offered.

If you’re hoping to save time or skip a long peak mealtime line, though, you can opt to Mobile Order your food. With a little pre-planning (like, an hour or two before you think the family will get hangry), you can Mobile Order your food so it’s ready for pickup right when you’ll want to dine – no waiting in line required.

Is Satu’li Canteen Kid-Friendly?

Satu’li Canteen has an atmosphere that’s relatively kid-friendly – like all Disney World quick-service dining spots, it’s a solid option that offers a relatively speedy meal and a super casual atmosphere.

Plus, when it comes to flavor, the food here is delicious. While the menu might not seem super picky-eater-friendly at first glance, there are options that’ll satisfy kids of every age. And, more importantly, adults won’t have to suffer subpar food when dining here.

Ultimately, while kids may not find the theming of Satu’li Canteen as thrilling as other quick-service options with more classic Disney-driven theming, this is a solid pick (and you won’t have to worry about kids being slightly loud, slightly messy, or otherwise typically chaotic here!)
