Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend celebrates women and women’s health. Dad’s not a big fan of running so this seems just crazy to Dad.
This year it’s the race celebrates it’s 5th anniversary. It gets more popular each year. Check out the weekend activities.

Coming to ESPN Wide World Sports Complex on February 21-23, 2014, will be the Fit for a Princess Expo. Pasta in the Park on Friday night is the official kick off to this event. The Disney Royal Family 5K is run on Saturday morning followed by a special breakfast. Then it is time for kids races. Sunday is the day for serious runners. Runners who want to participate can run the Disney’s Princess Half Marathon. That is 13.1 miles! Crazy People.
Friday Night
Guests and runners arriving on Friday will get a chance to carbo load on some wonderful pasta at the Pasta in the Park event. This event is held in World Showcase. Dinner is served buffet style starting at 6:30 p.m. and will be done by 8:30 p.m. Then guests can enjoy Illuminations.
Saturday
Saturday morning starts with the Disney Royal Family 5K run at 6:30 a.m. So get up bright and early. Then stretch those muscles and enjoy a short jog with family and friends through EPCOT. Then head off to Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend Breakfast from 7:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
Then it is time for the real fun, the Kids Races. Head on over to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Track and Field Complex and watch kids compete in a number of races. While you are over there you might want to check out the Disney’s Fit for a Princess Expo.

Sunday
Sunday Morning racers will line up in EPCOT and start racing at 5:15 a.m. They will race 13.1 miles around EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom. Costumes are allowed during this run. This again is an all female event sorry guys.
You guys are allowed to cheer your lucky ladies on through out the race or even meet them at the finish line with a smile and a bottle of water. After the race guests can visit the parks or even check out the Disney’s Fit for a Princess Expo.
