Is Melt-Away Bay Kid-Friendly?

The sprawling Melt-Away Bay is perfect for kids – and even better for parents, it’s a place where kids of all ages can hang out together. Toddlers and young swimmers can hang out on the shores of the bay or in its shallowest waters, while older kids can swim deeper into the bay or hang out on inner tubes.

While Melt-Away Bay is a traditional wave pool, note that the strongest waves are those at the deepest (and furthest) points. If your kids aren’t confident swimmers, you can easily stay in the shallow areas where waves are weaker.

Best For: Kids of all ages who want a beach-like spot to swim or play in the sand.

Will Melt-Away Bay Cause Motion Sickness?

Even when the waves are rolling in Melt-Away Bay, this Blizzard Beach attraction shouldn’t cause motion sickness for any guests.
