Isle of Java

by | Sep 26, 2025 | Discovery Island, Quick-Service Restaurants

Isle of Java is where you can grab a pick-me-up when starting your day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom or refuel as the day wears on. This quick-service kiosk specializes in all kinds of caffeinated beverages, from espresso and cappuccino to iced coffee. And yes, there are pastries and other sweet treats available, too, to pair with your coffee.

Isle of Java Location

You’ll find Isle of Java in Animal Kingdom’s Discovery Island, right next door to Flame Tree Barbecue. It sits right near the bridge into DinoLand, U.S.A.

Isle of Java Menu

You’d be right if you guessed a spot called Isle of Java was all about coffee. There’s a long list of coffee drinks on the menu here – but this all-day quick-service spot also serves non-caffeinated beverages and some kid-friendly fare.

Stop by in the morning, and you can pick up a breakfast sandwich alongside your coffee, plus some sweet and savory treats like cinnamon rolls (Mickey-shaped, obviously) and churros. In the afternoon, the coffee menu and snack options remain pretty much the same, though you won’t be able to grab select breakfast items.

Is Isle of Java Kid-Friendly?

While the focus at Isle of Java is on coffee and other caffeinated beverages, this quick-service spot is actually quite kid-friendly. The snacks available here are tailored to theme park guests of every age with staples like churros and Mickey-shaped pretzels on the menu. Plus, there’s quite a number of coffee-free drinks served here.

And if you’re working with particularly wiggly or impatient kids, the grab-and-go nature of Isle of Java is perfect for picking up drinks, light bites, or coffee for adults and moving on fast.
