I was obviously a child of the 1990s and loved Hulk Hogan, just ask The Man-Child. Well while he was wrestling he also appeared on a show called “Thunder in Paradise.” Little known fact many episodes of Thunder in Paradise were shot inside the Grand Floridian Resort.

I have heard the Grand Floridian is home to Walt Disney World’s best club sandwich. The Grand Floridian is also home to the Fairy Tale Wedding Pavilion. This is the perfect place for a happily ever after wedding. I begged Dad and Mrs. Mom to let Prince Charming and I get married there. They said no so we settled to for going to Walt Disney World for our honeymoon.

To start the work day off work on selected morning guest can see the ladies of the Grand Floridian twirl their way to work. On the selected mornings at 8 a.m. the ladies perform the Courtyard Parasol Parade. The lobby is home to 2 chandeliers. Both chandeliers weigh about a ton and a half.

The Grand Floridian is also home to one of Walt Disney World’s best spas. At the spa guests can enjoy a massage, a pedicure, a manicure and a ton of other services. Prince Charming and I enjoyed a massage on our honeymooon and trust me it was worth it. Not only did we get a massage but the entire spa was ours to enjoy. Like usual Walt Disney World keyed in on the little things. It was truly great.

If you are going to take a trip to Walt Disney World and want to stay somewhere a bit more upscale and less kid friendly then the Grand Floridian is for you. This resort brings a great Victorian flavor to the happiest place on earth. It is steeped in rich history at every corner. Let Dad and his friends start booking your trip today. You know you want to go!
