Frontera Cocina

Frontera Cocina is the best place in Disney Springs to eat if you find yourself hanging out with the Three Caballeros. Though, with Donald Duck’s temper, you may want to head to the To-Go window just around the corner.

Talk about fresh! When reviewers discuss Frontera Cocina, the word that I keep hearing is fresh! Mmmm, now Dad is getting hungry!

Frontera Cocina

When you come here, don’t think Tex-Mex, while some of the foods are similar, Celebrity Chef Rick Bayless is going for more authentic Mexican food.

What to Expect

The first thing you’ll notice when you enter is some really cool artwork. The mural of the sun and creative lighting really give you the feel of Mexico. Tequila bottles and decorative plates line the walls, making for a fun atmosphere.

Like I said before, this isn’t Tex-Mex, so if you’re skipping Frontera Cocina because you think it’s going to be the same as your local Mexican food joint, don’t let that stop you! For example, if you order the Queso Fundido here it’s not for dipping chips–it’s chewy cheese that you put in a tortilla!

The rest of the menu is similar, familiar flavors done in a more authentic way. They have three different types of guacamole! The Carne Asada steak gets rave reviews!

Outside of the Mexico pavilion at EPCOT you probably won’t find a more extensive Mexican beverage selection anywhere on property. Menu options are always changing so check out the official website menu for what’s currently on offer.

One option to remember, if you’re looking for a snack or a light lunch, is to head over to the To-Go window – it features a small selection of tacos, nachos and more and is perfect for a quick (spicy) bite.

Location

Frontera Cocina is located in the Town Center section of Disney Springs. It’s near Sprinkles (so if Donald Duck is still throwing a tantrum after your meal, you might want to take the short walk) the Disney Springs Welcome Center, and a whole bunch of shopping!

Dinner

Heading to Disney Springs in the evening? Here is the dinner menu.

To-Go Window

If you’re in the mood for a smaller meal, or just want a snack then you might enjoy the To-Go menu. The full menu is not offered, but there are a few small items and beverages available. To see the options check out the To-Go Menu.

Advanced Dining Reservations

Disney Springs is adding new options all the time, but you should still make an ADR if you really want to eat here without one then you can always head to the To-Go window if the main restaurant is full.

If you need some help with ADR’s, or if planning just simply isn’t your thing, our friends at Destinations to Travel would love to help you! Sometimes it’s best to leave the planning to the experts!

Extra Fun

If you’re driving to Disney Springs, park in the Lime Garage. It’s just a short walk to Frontera Cocina from there.

And, seriously, walk over to Sprinkles. Trust me!
