Disney World hours vary widely. With 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, a giant shopping, dining, and entertainment district, hundreds of restaurants, hundreds of shops, and dozens of resort hotels, operating hours across property are quite challenging to keep up with – and that’s where the MyDisneyExperience app comes in handy.

Theme Park Hours
If you spend enough time studying (prepping) for your WDW trips on the MyDisneyExperience, park hours are fairly predictable. Currently, park hours are mostly:
- Magic Kingdom: 9:00am to 9:00pm or 10:00pm
- EPCOT: 9:00am to 9:00pm
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 9:00am to 9:00pm
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 8:00am or 9:00am to 7:00pm
Every day, each theme park offers Early Entry, which allows WDW resort hotel guests to enter 30 minutes before official opening.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered on select nights, which gives guests staying at a WDW Deluxe Resort or a WDW Deluxe Villa the ability to stay in a certain park for 2 hours after closing.
Water Park Hours
Since Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are open seasonally, if visiting either is on your must-do list, be sure to check our refurbishments page before your trip to ensure they’re scheduled to be open when you visit.
Typhoon Lagoon is planned to be open from March to September and Blizzard Beach from September to March.
Hours are typically 10:00am to 5:00pm, or on summer days, 10:00am to 8:00pm.

Disney World Resorts
WDW resort hotel hours are set and adhered to year round. The front desk is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
For Disney Vacation Club Resorts, check-in time is 4:00pm.
For all other resort hotels, else check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time at all Disney hotels on property is 11:00am. Later times can be requested at the front desk – or better yet, you can ask your travel agent (from Destinations to Travel, of course!) to help with that request.
