Here’s every Disney resort ranked from smallest to largest based on the size of its standard rooms — plus a look at how to upgrade to bigger, even more luxurious accommodations.

Disney’s All-Star Movies, Music, and Sports Resorts

Standard Room Size: Approx. 260 sq. ft.

Disney’s Value Resorts may be small, but they’re mighty when it comes to fun. Each All-Star Resort features identical layouts — refurbished rooms with queen beds, Murphy options, and bright, colorful décor themed to classic Disney icons.

Larger Options:

All-Star Music stands out with Family Suites (~520 sq. ft.) that include a separate bedroom, living area, and kitchenette — ideal for families wanting a bit more elbow room.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Just like the All-Star Resorts, Pop Century’s rooms are compact yet efficient. The recent refurbishments added Murphy beds, smart storage, and modern finishes that make great use of limited space.

Larger Options:

Pop doesn’t have suites, but it wins points for convenience and access to the Disney Skyliner.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (Standard Rooms)

Art of Animation’s Little Mermaid rooms are small, but beautifully themed with bright colors and ocean details. These rooms are among the most immersive Value-level options at Walt Disney World.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

Riverside offers Southern charm and comfortable layouts with double vanities, soft theming, and room for up to five guests. Rooms aren’t huge, but they feel welcoming and relaxed.

Larger Options:

There are no villas here, but guests can upgrade to a themed Royal Room or enjoy easy access to French Quarter and its beignet-filled charm.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter

Standard Room Size: Approx. 314 sq. ft.

Technically a Moderate, Fort Wilderness Cabins provide more space than most Deluxe rooms. You’ll get a full kitchen, living room, private patio, and separate sleeping area, all surrounded by peaceful forest.
