Cool down and enjoy a refreshing treat at Caravan Road, a quick-service kiosk at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that specializes in shaved ice. The menu here may be simple, but on a warm day, this is an icy alternative to traditional ice cream, with plenty of flavor options.

Caravan Road Location

You’ll find Caravan Road in Asia. It’s located just across Discovery River from the Tree of Life, and the kiosk is one of the first things you’ll encounter if you’re entering Asia from Africa.

Caravan Road Menu

The menu at Caravan Road isn’t extensive (it is a kiosk and not a full quick-service restaurant, after all), but it’s got plenty of crowd-pleasing options to choose from. This kiosk is all about shaved ice, so your options here are shaved ice in an array of flavors – and you can also get any of those flavors with alcohol.

See what’s on the menu at Caravan Road below.

Shaved Ice

  • Watermelon
  • Kakigori
  • Mango Passion Fruit
  • Tropical Slushy

Alcoholic Offerings

  • Watermelon
  • Assorted Beer
  • Kakigori
  • Mango Passion Fruit
  • Piña Colada
  • Tropical Shaved Ice

Disney Dining Plan

The Disney Dining Plan isn’t accepted at Caravan Road, so you can’t use snack credits from either the Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan here.

Advance Dining Reservations

Since Caravan Road is a kiosk that serves snacks only, you won’t find any advance dining reservations (ADRs) available here. Instead, you can stop by when it’s open (usually mid-morning to late afternoon) to grab a bite.

Is Caravan Road Kid-Friendly?

Like ice cream, shaved ice is a pretty universally loved treat for kids – so Caravan Road is absolutely a kid-friendly snack spot at Animal Kingdom. While you won’t find seating here, it’s a great option for a grab-and-go treat.
