At Cape May Cafe you can look out over the sand-lined pools of Stormalong Bay, while children splash about throughout the day, and peering out beyond the pirate ship to Crescent Lake as small SeaRaycers and large Friendships glide past, you may forget that you’re at Walt Disney World and feel like you’ve been magically transported to a New England beach at the height of summer vacation.
Glancing around the restaurant you’ll notice beach-themed everything from the decorations on the wall to the outfits on the characters making their rounds to meet and greet guests. Even the buffet is piled high with generous helping of fresh seafood! Surely, this must be Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, or Nantucket! But no, it’s just that good ol’ Disney magic casting a spell on you. It’s amazing how Disney’s attention to detail can make you feel like you’re in another world.
At Cape May Cafe, you can start your morning off right with the sun coming up over the water while you meet Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto before heading out on your daily adventure, or you can indulge your seafood cravings with a smorgasbord of culinary delights in a casual atmosphere at night.

Decor
The Cape May Cafe bursts with the feeling of being in New England, a perfect match for Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The restaurant is lively yet calm with bright colorful beach chairs and umbrellas balanced by soft cream-colored walls and tile. Light wood tables and floral curtains complete the beachside vibe at this out-of-the-ordinary buffet.
Special touches at each meal reinforce the seaside theme. In the morning, characters appear in beachwear, ready for their day of fun in the sun. At night, the aroma of fresh seafood wafts through the air and the bounty of fish, crabs, mussels, and more makes you feel like you’re on the coast at a real live clam bake.
Hours and Location
Cape May Cafe is open daily from 7:30-11:00am for Goofy’s Beach Club Breakfast character dining experience (featuring Minnie, Goofy, and Donald in their beach attire). Then it opens again from 5:30-9:30pm for the Clam Bake Dinner Buffet.
It is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Villas, conveniently located within walking distance to the other EPCOT area hotels around Disney’s BoardWalk – Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, The Board Walk Inn, and The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts. It is just steps from the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT, and a brisk walk or short boat ride away from Disney Hollywood Studios – making it a great choice for an early character breakfast before venturing out to the parks.

Prices
Cape May Cafe is a buffet, whether you dine for breakfast or dinner. That means that the price is a little higher than you might pay at some table service restaurants, but if you plan your day well and use it to fill up (maybe even have a buffet and a snack, skipping a second meal) it can be a great way to save. It’s also ideal for picky eaters – there is lots of variety plus kids and adults can eat the same food! If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, a meal here will set you back one table service credit per person.
Goofy’s Beach Club Breakfast costs $28.75 for adults and $15.97 for kids ages 3-9 (this includes tax and non-alcoholic beverages but not gratuity). The Clam Bake Dinner Buffet will set you back $42.59 for adults and $20.23 for kids ages 3-9 (including tax but not gratuity, and beverages are extra).

For breakfast or dinner, Cape May Cafe is a winner! (See what I did there?) The location is unbeatable, whether you’re headed to or from the parks or the EPCOT area hotels for a good meal with some fun variations from the normal Walt Disney World menus.
