So when are the best weeks to visit Walt Disney World in 2018? That’s a really, really good question.
Yes, Dad has the answer.

Here are Dad’s top 5 weeks to go to the Most Magical Place on Earth in 2018.
The Best Time to Visit Walt Disney World
No, I don’t use a dart board. Lol. That would be pretty silly. (I think I’ll try it next year.)
When it comes to picking the best time to go to WDW, I think about crowds, weather, events, and lots more. For more about the best time to go to Disney World, check out…

Enough introduction. Let’s jump right in, and before you start yelling at me, the difference between number one and number five is a razors edge. All the weeks below are GREAT times to visit WDW.
The Winner is…

My pick for the Best week to visit WDW in 2018 is…
December 9th – 15th
Surprised?
I know, I usually pick the week after Thanksgiving, but that was scary busy in 2016 so I’m changing things up for 2018.
I always picks a week during Christmas season as the BEST week to visit Walt Disney World. Yes, I do it every year. I love Christmas at WDW. It’s my favorite time of the year to visit.

So December 9th to 15th is the winner, winner chicken dinner for 2018.
The First Runner Up

I’m really going to shake things up this year with the first runner up. I don’t think I’ve ever picked a week in February this high, but the second best week to visit Walt Disney World in 2018 is… Drum roll please…
February 4th – 10th
Yes, February. So what’s changed to move February up so high? The new Festival of the Arts at EPCOT. It’s really cool.
February is a great time to visit Walt Disney World. The weather is usually nice, crowds are low (except for Presidents week) and now there is a great event to enjoy.
The Inevitable Second Christmas Week

Yes, I always picks two weeks during the Christmas season for my best time to visit Walt Disney World in 2018 is no exception. So the second Christmas Week to visit in 2018 is…
November 11th – 17th
Yes, I know, November 11th is Veterans Day and typically you want to avoid all holidays when you plan a WDW vacation, but Veterans Day doesn’t draw a lot of crowds.
I like this week because the Jersey Week crowds are gone, and the Thanksgiving crowds haven’t arrived yet. It’s a really good week to enjoy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Halloween and the Food and Wine Festival

I just love going to Walt Disney World in the fall. There is just so much to enjoy. The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, the Halloween decorations and for a few weeks low crowds.
My pick for the best week to go to WDW in the fall of 2018 is…
September 9th – 15th
September can be a little hot, but the crowds are some of the smallest of the whole year. Oh, and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is playing 3 nights that week. Trick or Treating on Main Street is pretty cool.
If you can stand the heat, pretty much all of September is an awesome time to visit WDW.
Last, But Not Least
Speaking of Festivals… Photo by Laurie Sapp
The last of Dad’s 5 BEST weeks to visit Walt Disney World in 2018 is…
May 13th – 19th
May is one of the most beautiful months to visit Walt Disney World. The spring break crowds are gone, the summer crowds haven’t hit yet, and the Flower and Garden Festival make EPCOT truly shine.
Sing along with Dad and Ray…
“Everything is beautiful
In it’s own way
Like a starry summer night
On a snow covered winter’s day.”
Yep, Dad sings good.
Everything truly is beautiful at Walt Disney World in May. It’s a really good time to visit.
Anytime You Can
If you can’t go to Walt Disney World during Dad’s five BEST Weeks, it’s OK. I always say the BEST time to visit Walt Disney World is…
