November 17 – 24

I am a HUGE fan of Christmas at WDW. In 2019, as with almost every year I’ve picked the best weeks to go to Disney World, I’ve picked two weeks during the Christmas season. And again, one of them wins the BEST week to visit WDW in 2019.

Dad’s November Disney World Crowds page

The week before Thanksgiving, November 17 – 24 gets my vote for the best week to go to Disney World in 2019. With Thanksgiving being late in 2019 there’s a full week between the Veterans Day crowds leaving and the Thanksgiving crowds arriving. I think this will be the best week of the holiday season.

The Whole Month of September

September is the lowest month of the year for crowds at Walt Disney World. In fact, it’s just about the perfect time for a trip to WDW if you don’t mind flaming heat and an occasional hurricane or two. All the weeks in September qualify as the Best Weeks to visit Disney World in 2019.

In September the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is in full swing. Good food, some adult beverages and even some great classic rock music make the Food and Wine Festival something not to be missed.

Oh, and you don’t want to miss Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party over in the Magic Kingdom. The park gets all spookied up and celebrates Halloween with special meet and greets, parades, fireworks and even Trick or Treating. Grab your favorite Halloween costume and have some fun.

Yes, more Christmas. I just LOVE Christmas at Disney World. It’s my favorite time to visit. The decorations. the music, the atmosphere, it makes me want to break out in song. Come on, sing with me…

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”

And it is.

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. There’s nothing better than watching the Once Upon a Christmas Time Parade coming down Main Street with Santa wishing everyone a Merry Christmas…

Oh and over at EPCOT you have The Festival of the Holidays which features storytellers in all the countries that tell about the holiday tradition in each country. And then there’s the Candlelight Processional which tells the story of the birth of Jesus in music and scripture. Not to be missed!

May 5 – 12

May is one of the best times to visit Walt Disney World. The weather is not too hot (usually). The crowds are very manageable (usually). And everything is beautiful (all the time).

The old saying goes April showers bring May flowers. So true, and May is fill with beautiful flowers as the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom.

What about early in the year, Dad? Can we get a date in the first part of the year?

Patience Pigment. It’s coming.

When?

How about right now?

The New Year gets started with a boom. Big crowds, a marathon, more big crowds and then things settle down a bit. That brings us to the last of our best weeks to visit Walt Disney World in 2019, February 3rd through the 10th.

Dad’s February Disney World Crowds page

February is a great time of the year. The weather is cool, the crowds until Presidents day are low and the International Festival of the Arts takes over EPCOT.
