Artist Point is now Storybook Dining at Artist Point
Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge is just the place to go when Mom and Dad need a place at Disney World for the special date night.
This is one of the most romantic restaurants in one of the most romantic hotels at Disney World. Oh, the foods pretty good too.
Inside
As usual, Disney has overdone themselves in themeing this restaurant. Every dining room is dedicated to a different animal. Walls are covered with brightly colored murals depicting the animals. The rooms are lit by detailed laterns hanging from gigantic timber columns.
When you look outside the large windows you can see the stunning views of Resort’s Bay Lake and Silver Creek Falls. If the weather is nice as to sit outside for a spectacular view.

Hours
The restaurant is only open for dinner. It opens at 5:30 each evening and closes around 10:00.
Dress Code
Since this is one of the more upscale restaurants they do have somewhat of a dress code. I would call it every day casual. Suggested for men is Khakis, slacks, jeans or dress shorts accompanied with a polo or button down shirt. Sports coats are optional. For ladies capris, skirts, dresses, jeans and dress shorts.
What not to wear … items such as tank tops, swimwear, hats on men, cutoffs or torn clothing arent’ allowed. While tshirts are OK don’t wear any with extensive or graphic language. (This includes anything with Universal on it. Just kidding.)
The Menus
The food is focused on Pacific Northwest menu. Mostly seafood, sirloins, and game. The signature dish of this restaurant is cedar-plank roasted salmon. If you want dessert order the cobbler: seasonal berries with black raspberry ice cream made right here in the restaurant. Also there are 131 wine selections to chose from.

Dad’s Bottom Line
This is one of the few Disney World restaurants where you might actually get a quiet romantic meal for adults. The food gets good ratings and the atmosphere is as good as it gets.
